About Me
I’ve been blessed to be married to Maggie for over 40 years, and we are proud parents of a bunch of very creative and very happy children and grandchildren.
That has pretty much shaped my life - love and family. It's what I have been able to take to work each day as a Family Doctor and which I hope has made be a better physician because of that love.
There's been some tough times too which have also helped me better empathise with my patients, because whoever you are in life, sometime some day, suffering will come knocking on your door and you'll need someone to talk to.
A few years back I started work on a 180km walking trail called The Pilgrim Trail - that was in 2009. I also decided to start writing some books - and that’s where this website comes in.
Currently I’ve published six books with another about to be released and another about to enter the “editing experience” - it’s like giving birth but not as messy or painful!
The act of writing allows me to share something of me with you. This webpage allows you to share something of you with me and I really appreciate the feedback that I get, so please keep it up.
Blessings and love.
Duncan
